Christopher Guerrero has been boxing since he was a teenager. At the age of 12, he started training at the Underdog Boxing Gym under the guidance of coach Mike Moffa. Showing great motivation, he kept progressing and started to compete 3 years later.
His journey as an amateur laid the foundation for his experience as he had the opportunity to participate in many competitions on the provincial, national and international scenes. Throughout his amateur career, Christopher has had great success, starting with winning his first Canadian Championship title in 2017. He went on to win the silver gloves in 2019 and became a second Canadian champion that same year. His fights in Canada, the United States, and Tunisia took him all the way to the 2020 National Selections where he competed until the semi-finals. To follow this step, a change was necessary. After careful consideration, the young Montreal athlete of Mexican origin decided to turn professional.
In January 2021, he signed his first victory in the major leagues during a fight in Mexico. Since his debut, he has had great success and his determination has only grown. Now accompanied by young trainer Giuseppe Moffa, Guerrero is charting his course and his only goal is a championship fight that will open the doors for a chance at unification in the 147 lb. weight class. Let’s bet that with his offensive style and his dedication to training, he will be able to achieve his greatest ambitions.
