Christian Mbilli stepped into a boxing gym for the first time at the age of 15. Even in his debut year, his exceptional talent and extraordinary physical conditioning made an immediate impact. His rapid rise began with a third-place finish at the French Cadet Championships and culminated in winning the European Championship and the French National Senior title.

By 19, the Cameroon-born athlete had claimed the Union European Championship and topped the Olympic qualification tournament for the 2016 Games. At the Rio Olympics, the young prodigy finished an impressive fourth. His amateur career boasts over 80 fights, including three standout victories in the elite-level World Series of Boxing (WSB).

Eager for new challenges, Christian Mbilli turned professional in 2017 under the guidance of renowned trainer Marc Ramsay. Championship opportunities soon followed. By 2018, he had collected an array of titles, including the WBC Youth World, WBC Youth Intercontinental, WBC Francophone, WBC Continental Americas, and WBA International belts, defending them successfully multiple times.

Now, at the cusp of 2024-2025, Solide has firmly established himself among the sport’s elite. Explosive and dominant victories over top 10 opponents like Carlos Góngora, Rohan Murdock, and Sergiy Derevyanchenko have propelled him to #1 rankings with both the WBC and WBA at 168 lbs. His burgeoning global reputation has also led to a co-management deal with American powerhouse promoter Top Rank, joining forces with Eye of the Tiger Management (EOTTM) to position Mbilli as a rising star on the ESPN network.

With an unblemished record of 28 wins, including 23 by knockout, Christian Mbilli’s biggest triumphs are undoubtedly on the horizon—and they have never been closer.
