Introduced to the sweet science by his father who encouraged him to enroll in a boxing gym at the age of 10, Artem Oganesyan discovered a passion and a natural talent allowing him to very quickly stand out among his comrades. The latter had an impressive amateur career where he won a significant number of honors on the national and international scene. A four-time national champion from Russia, Oganesyan won the Junior European Championship, and the Junior World Championship and was voted AIBA’s best boxer of the tournament. His only 3 losses in Olympic boxing – out of a total of 91 fights – were extremely controversial and contested. These left a bitter taste convincing him to make the jump to the professionals in 2017.

Scouted and coveted by a multitude of promoters around the world, it is in Canada that Artem Oganesyan decides to pursue his career by joining Eye of the Tiger Management in 2018. His first performances in Quebec amaze boxing fans, who quickly fall in love with the Russian-born athlete.
