Background & Amateur Career

As an amateur, three-time Canadian champion Arthur Biyarslanov represented Canada at several major international tournaments, including the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto—where he won gold—and the 2015 Continental Championships in Venezuela, where he earned bronze. Competing at 64 kg, he continued to build his experience by travelling the world and facing high-level opposition. That journey led him to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Following his Olympic experience, the Toronto native spent roughly two more years in the amateur ranks before setting his sights on the professional game.

Professional Debut & Rise

At 22 years old, Arthur Biyarslanov turned professional in December 2018 in the super lightweight division. He won each of his first three fights in the opening round, showcasing not only his power but also impressive technical skill. The southpaw continued his winning run, recording 11 knockouts in 13 bouts before joining EOTTM, determined to take his career to the next level.

From there, the rise began. In 2024, “The Wolf” earned four victories in less than eight months, including the capture of the NABF title, which he successfully defended twice. Now ranked among the WBC’s top 20, Arthur Biyarslanov and his trainer, Samuel Décarie-Drolet, have made their intentions clear: “The Wolf” will turn down no challenge until he has a world title around his waist.
